Haha... I used a lot of those ESCO Tools on boiler water wall replacement jobs all around the New England area... I remember a big wall panel replacement job at Montaup Electric - Somerset, Ma with that track saw set up and the saw would bog down and glaze over the cutting disk because they didn't have enough constant compressed air pressure to run it properly... We ordered a big rental air compressor to the job site to boost the volume and necessary compressed air pressure and it worked just like the video... PERFECT! Now, that plant along with many others are no longer in service and are demolished. It's really sad to see how fast a political agenda is so effective at attacking and waging war on the energy industry. Don't get me wrong, renewable energy is great - as long as it exists as an additional resource and not as a replacement to fossil fuels at this time. You would think every sensible person would know that you don't destroy your energy infrastructure until you have another reliable and affordable one developed to take it's place... but, then again, politicians don't think and, aren't sensible either.

Hello, good evening, recently we made 2 cuts in the 26-inch pipe and both together, once the cut and bevel was completed, they were magnetized, what do you recommend I do? Thanks
Hi Carlos, I'm sorry we haven't responded to you before now. It would be best to contact us directly for consult. I assume that the material is stainless steel. Stainless can become magnetized when cold worked. The magnetism will likely go away after a few days or the pipe can be degaussed. Please feel free to contact Esco directly for assistance.

That was the operator’s mistake and he didn’t nearly cut through it,just run a bead on it and grind it it off and it’s a done deal,O and it’s called a tube

35yrs Boilermaking and no contractor ever rented any track saw like that, we used 6" bay flex cutting wheels on Metabo grinders. Plus them high speed millers blow. One last thing if we took this long to cut grind and mill 10 tubes we would have been shown the gate ie, Laid-off.
I retired after 35 years in Local 107 and most of the contractors always rented the track saws for the horizontal cuts because it makes a nice straight cut and then we use a 9” electric manual for the vertical membrane cut
I mean idk about you but we use inconel wrapped tubes and it is much faster with a mill hog not to mention the prep is perfect.

Not on tangent tubes.
Steve, thanks for bringing up tangent tubes. We use these machines on tangent tubes on a regular basis. We have a specific cutting blade with clearance for spinning around tangent tubes. The application is tough, but the tools work well.

One of these almost took my fucking hand off today. I'm sure it was a nice tool before it got run through the ringer by every apprentice this side of the Mississippi, but the locking handle is essentially bent parallel with the milling shaft at this point, and it doesn't help that my cohorts threw a fire blanket right into the teeth as I was operating it. Jammed right up. Only thing that saved me was a little stopper bar I had forgotten to remove from a completely different process on the same job.
How much is the welding machine? Can the price be in dollars ... with other types of machines ... catalog .... is possible WhatsApp for communication........
